Politicians might be politically stubborn or appear like a public nuisance.Similarly, some people might not respect them because of the words that come out of their mouth.
One thing to note about most of them is that they are not academic dwarfs.
The truth be told; these Luo politicians need to be crowned for their spectacular academic achievements.
Here is the list of Luo politicians who holds First Class honors from various recognized universities around the world:
1. Babu Owino: the Embakasi East Member of Parliament graduated from the University of Nairobi with First Class Honors in in Actuarial Science in August 2012. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in law at the same institution.
2. Miguna Miguna: the Canadian-based vocal lawyer is well known for his mind-cracking English.
He graduated with first class honors in political science and philosophy from the University of Toronto in 1990.
3. Anyang’ Nyong’o: he is the current Kisumu County Governor.
He is widely recognized for his record-breaking academic excellence. Nyong’o graduated with a First Class honors degree from Makerere University where he studied political science.
He was the first person to scoop the honor in the history of the Department of Political Science at Makerere.
