NASA MPs set to fund campaigns
Members of Parliament elected on NASA tickets will oversee elections in their respective constituencies following deliberations from a PG held in Lavington on Wednesday.
First time MPs will pay at least Sh200, 000 while those who have served for more than two terms will remit Sh500, 000 to the party according to ODM chairman John Mbadi.
In addition, all MPs will be in charge of campaigns in their respective constituencies and would coordinate all activities on behalf of the National Management Committee.

Odinga – Chebukati set to meet after Wednesday’s abandoned meeting
Opposition team under the leadership of Raila Odinga is set to meet with IEBC team on Thursday at the Anniversary Towers to discuss key electoral issues.
On top of the agenda will be election date which the opposition has disputed following the decision by the IEBC to settle on October 17th.
Also, the opposition team would push for more radical surgery in the commission with key officials targeted for a crackdown ahead of polls.

Duale set to face Justice Odunga
Garissa Township MP Aden Duale will have most challenging moments in court following the decision by the High court to allow Justice George Odunga to handle his election petition.
Former National Assembly Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim has challenged Duale’s reelection on grounds that the election was not free and fair.
In most of his press briefings prior to elections. Duale threatened to have Odunga expelled from the court on grounds that he was more ‘friendly’ to the opposition team instead of executing neutrality.

Blow to Odinga as two key allies back Uhuru
Opposition leader Raila Odinga may be forced to go back to the drawing board following unlikely exit of two senior politicians from the Western belt from his camp.
Former Funyula MP Paul Otuoma, who unsuccessfully contested for Busia governorship has since joined Uhuru’s camp in the most unlikely shift of allegiance.
From Vihiga, former Governor Moses Akaranga has also changed tune even after supporting Odinga in August 8 election. He lost his seat to Wilberforce Otichillo of ODM.
