[Photo: Courtesy]Jubilee Party politicians in North Rift region have lamented alleged mistreatment from the top party leadership. They have threatened to withdraw their support from the party, and support Jubilee rivals, if nothing is done.Led by Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter, they warned Jubilee against supporting independent candidates in the region.According to the politicians, the party has been lured into supporting losers in party primaries, who claim they support president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto's re-election."How can you support someone who says he supports the president but does not support other Jubilee candidates? It's either Jubilee or we withdraw our support," warned Mandago, who was once a close ally to DP Ruto. They slammed Bundotich Buzeki, who seeks to unseat Mandago as independent candidate, after losing in primaries."There's nothing like independent candidate. We are voting for Mandago. Others are not going anywhere and if someone wants to support him, we also have our option," warned Sudi. The trio were addressing locals in Eldoret, Saturday.
