Kilimani MCA aspirant Banjamin Nkaate has claimed that Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati has issued threats to his life over his quest for the MCA post.

The claims were first made public by controversial ODM blogger Abdullahi Musa on his official Facebook page.

Musa claimed that Arati was issuing threats and intimidating messages to Nkaate and his supporters because he was keen to front his nephew -the incumbent Kilimani MCA Moses Ogeto - for the seat.

Musa also shared photos of a complaint letter Nkaate has deposited with the ODM disciplinary committee for the matter to be dealt with.Arati is yet to respond to the claims, but his supporters who accessed the post by Musa, refuted the blogger's claims that Arati is related to MCA Ogeto.

They dismissed the blogger, saying he was being petty and that they are keen to ensure Ogeto is re-elected.
