An ODM officials has released a new controversial statement regarding the proposed swearing in of NASA leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday as President.
According to ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale, Raila did not reject being sworn in as President as reported by a section of the media on Sunday morning.
Through his social media account, Mr Etale refuted the claims describing them as propaganda affirming that Raila would be president.
"Forget newspaper headlines. Forget so-called 'sources close to baba'. Forget government propaganda through sections of the media. Forget any diversionary tactics by Jubilee and their agencies. The resolve by the people of Kenya is one. Baba must be president," he tweeted on Sunday
Earlier reports rejected the calls for his swearing-in on grounds that it would taint his international image, his respect for the law and the Constitution.
The reports added that Odinga resolved to use all the available legal means to gain power.
