[Photo: PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta has issued awards to KDF soldiers who excelled in different categories, as he presided over the pass out parade in Kamagut, Eldoret.The best recruit all-round award was awarded to Kipkoech Rotich, the second best recruit all-round went to Joseph Chacha while Asha Naaman was the third best recruit all-round.Evans Muganda received the award for the best recruit in combat marksmanship during the Friday event.The award for best division all-round was won by Nyati Division, which was commanded by Maj E K Yego.‘M’ Company commanded by Lt J K Muthoni won the best company all-round award. According to PSCU, best Platoon award went to No 33 pl commanded by Sgt Johnston Kirui.Cpl Joshua Eregae won the best section commander’s award.
