A top security officer at the Senate has been accused of sodomising a University of Nairobi student on Monday last week.
While speaking to Nairobi News, the third-year students at the city varsity said he was arrested for roaming in town with an intention to commit a crime.
The young man further said that after being arrested he was detained at one of the offices in parliament and was repeatedly sodomised by the officer.
The young man says despite reporting the matter to the police the security officer has not been apprehended since he is well connected as he is related to a senior official of the Parliamentary Service Commission.
However, central police OCPD Mr Robinson Thuku has dismissed the allegations that no action has been taken against the suspect.
“He spent the weekend at the Police Station after being arrested on Friday following the accusations. This is a serious crime and we had to make sure that the victim was referring to the same man we had in our custody,” Central OCPD Thuku said.
