A top Standard Group reporter has been arrested in connection with the stealing of KTN reporter Joy Doreen Mbira's car.

According to police officers, Aaron Ochieng is alleged to have driven Biira car from Standard Group parking lot last week without her knowledge.

Ochieng was arrested alongside two other security guards who were on duty.

Biira's vehicle was traced to Kisumu with fake number plates.

The journalist who was recently arrested in Uganda for covering the Kasese clashes took to social media, to thank Kenyans for prayers during the period.

"Big thank you to each and everyone of you, the prayers, circulated messages and calls made for the recovery of my car. God bless you all," Joy Doreen Biira's said via Twitter.
