Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o on Thursday announced that he will bring top designers in the World to to the county next month.
Speaking during the Engage event, Nyong'o promised to bring the top designers of performing art centre to Kisumu, between May 5th and 7th, of this year to commence planning for putting up an ultra modern arts theater in the county, a grand idea that will revolutionize Kisumu's performing arts scene.
While on stage, the Governor narrated his miserable early stages of education back in Ndiru Primary School, his life as a student leader in Alliance High School and at University of Nairobi, and lastly, his life as lecturer that saw him going for exile in Mexico, where her daughter Lupita Nyong'o was born.
The event brought together hundreds of Kisumu residents, who braved the cold weather to attend the be present at the Acacia Premier.
Prof Nyong'o lauded the conveners and Achie Alai, CEC Tourism, Sports, Art and Culture for bringing down as a moving event to Kisumu.
