Opposition leader Raila Odinga will have three tough options to chose from in his anticipated major announcement, observes former Kitutu Masaba MP Abuya Abuya Abuya.
Having bolted out of the presidential repeat poll and with subsequent declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as president, a defiant Odinga has vowed to push for a fresh poll.
" Canaan is real and we have options from which we are exploring. We will cause civil disorder until elections are held within 90 days," said Odinga during a weekend rally.
From secession, Supreme Court to resignation of MPs to force another general election, Abuya says, are complex options from which Odinga will chose.
But he cautions that from whichever the option he settles on, he must ensure the country remains peaceful.
"He is not locked at all. he can call for self- determination, go to Supreme Court of even persuade 100 MPs to resign to force an elections. He must however ensure it is peaceful."
On Monday, Odinga postponed his anticipated announcement to Tuesday leaving his supporters yet again confused.
Should he go to Supreme Court, the country will witness yet another epic battle like the one that led to nullification of August poll.
