The people of Kenyan will need to brace themselves for tough times ahead after the Energy and Regulation Commission (ERC) announces the latest review on fuel prices in Kenya.
Diesel is up by Sh4.96 to Sh103.6 a liter in Nairobi, petrol rises by Sh1.64 to Sh108.81 while kerosene at Sh5.88 meaning a liter will cost the common mwanainchi Sh84.10 in latest ERC review.
The new prices will be in place for the next one month until the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) reviews them again on July 14.
However, Mombasa consumers will pay the lowest at Sh105.51 per liter of super petrol following the latest price adjustment and Sh100.31 for diesel.
Mandera motorists will pay Sh17 more than in Mombasa for super petrol, while diesel will cost 117.41 a litre.
