A wealthy Nakuru businessman-cum-Mr Fix it has suffered a major blow after the taxman went for his jugular.
Those in the know told this writer that the well connected businessman, he has friends in high places within Jubilee, was shocked after he was slapped with the Sh1.7 billion bill.
He has reportedly gone underground since the fee was charged.Sources said the taxman has been monitoring the flamboyant businessman and realized that he has not been paying taxes for his couple of companies.
The news has left tongues wagging as Mr Money Bags funded certain candidates in the 2017 elections in Nakuru and are now worried that if he goes broke they will face financial difficulties.
The man is said to have been the central guy when it came to resources mobilization for the Nakuru politicians.
Those opposed to his candidates are however celebrating his ‘downfall’ believing they will be able to beat ‘his candidates’.
