[Photo|Courtesy]A section of civil society groups staged protests in Nairobi city streets, demanding for resignation and prosecution of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba.NASA, led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his three co-principals, have also been calling for dismissal and prosecution of Chiloba, saying he was party to a bungled August 8 election, where the Supreme Court nullified presidential election, which saw President Uhuru Kenyatta declared winner.Nasa has threatened to boycott the October 17 presidential election if Chiloba is not sacked, and other raised issues are addressed.During the demonstrations, Wednesday, the civil society groups under the Kura Yangu Sauti Yangu umbrella, carried anti-Chiloba placards, singing democracy slogans.Led by AfriCOG Executive Director Gladwell Otieno among other leaders, the activists presented a petition at the IEBC offices at the Anniversary Towers, which was received by two IEBC Commissioners.Commissioners Margaret Mwachanya and Roslyn Akombe addressed them, and promised to present their petition and grievances before a meeting with fellow commissioners.
