With the upcoming elections,the stakeholders in the tourism industry are calling on politicians to uphold peace during and after the elections by urging their supporters to display maturity on the ground during the process.
The head of Kenya Tourism Federation said politicians should continue to display maturity to ensure that everything goes well and also appreciated the fact that Kenyans have maintained peace during the campaign period hoping that they will keep up the same spirit.
He also urged politicians to campaign and encourage togetherness and avoid promoting ethnicity between the citizens of the country.
With all these factors in play, he said it was up to Kenyans to display their love for the country by maintaining peace.
