Kenya leading automobile car retailer Toyota Kenya has launched the new model Toyota Hilux and Fortuner to the Kenyan market.
The move is aimed at setting a new benchmark in exterior and interior car features, with a combination of power, driver comfort and fuel efficiency.
Speaking to journalists on Friday in Mombasa, Toyota Kenya managing director Sachio Yotsukura said they are targeting customers mostly in Mombasa, where their business seems to be growing fast.
He added that they have improved the Fortuner which he said is way better than the old model.
“We improved the Fortuner's toughness as well as the sunlight comfort, making it tougher than the Hilux,” he said.
Yustukura said that the company cares about their customers, thus they intend to sell the new cars at cheap prices.
This comes after Toyota Kenya launched RAV 4 new model in April this year, making it the first vehicle to be sold in Kenya under the cross-over category.
