The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) Nakuru branch has set up a temporary tracing desk following Tuesday's multiple cars crash at Sachangwan.

The afternoon grisly accident left close 20 people dead. This is after a trailer rammed into a Modern Coast bus, leading to the collisions that ended up involving close to 10 vehicles along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.

Through its Twitter account, KRCS said the desk had been set up at the Nakuru Provincial General Hospital, and further issued a contact number for further enquiries.

"Kenya Red Cross Nakuru Branch has set up a tracing desk at Nakuru Provincial General Hospital and is offering psychosocial support to the affected families," said the humanitarian organisation, Wednesday morning.
