A trader who threw rotten fruits at Nairobi County Governor Dr Evans Kidero was arraigned in court on Friday, September 30.

The trader, Cyrus Kagutha, is a small scale farmer who is also the chairman of Wakulima Market.

Kagutha was accused of throwing a sack full of rotten fruits at the governor in Nairobi's CBD as he was addressing traders.

He pleaded guilty to the charges, and is awaiting judgement.
