Traders who lost property after fire razed down their stalls at Isiolo main market have moved to court seeking to be allowed to rebuild their stalls.

The traders have sued the county government, county commissioner George Natembeya and Attorney General.

The traders claimed that devolved unit fenced off the market rendering them jobless.

"We have not where to after fire razed down our business stalls. The county government had promised to reconstruct our stalls but they have failed to fulfill their pledge only to fence the area to keep us off. We are not ready to suffer since our businesses helps us feed our families and pay fees for our children," said a traded Ken Kirui.

The case will be heard on October 10.
