The curfew was imposed following a series of Al Shabaab terrorist attacks in North Eastern counties. The curfew is expected to end on October, 9.

However, fishermen, hoteliers, beach operators and other traders on Monday said the curfew has adversely affected their business.

The traders said since the curfew was imposed, the business have gone down since peoples’ movements have been restricted.

According to the traders, the security officers should beef up security in the area as they peacefully transact their businesses.

They urged Matiang'i to denounce the curfew for the smooth running of their business activities.
