Kisii town stage Matatu operators have called on traffic police officers to direct Matatu vehicles in and out of Kisii main stage to decongest and hinder accidents at the stage.
According to them, congestion is being experienced throughout the day and there is a need for traffic police officers to intervene to help by decongesting the stage.
Speaking to the writer on Thursday morning, Kisii town Matatu operators said there is no traffic officer at the stage to help the situation by directing vehicles in and out of the stage and congestion is a menace every day.
“We have seen collusion of vehicles here at the stage almost on a daily basis we need police officers to come and direct vehicles coming in and out of the stage,” said victor Monari a driver.
His sentiments were echoed by many of Matatu operators in kisii town who called for an urgent response from traffic officers.
