This follows a demolition of the previous security wall by the railways Authority during the on-going railway construction.

Speaking on Wednesday evening, the institute's head Dr James Karithu stated that the construction activities by the railways authority should begin as funds for the same had already been allocated.

"The National Lands Commission in 2015 allocated funds worth Sh8.9 million to Kenya Railways so as to reconstruct both the buildings and the perimeter walls demolished but up to date nothing has been done," said Karithu.

Dr Karithu further stated that the security of the school is compromised as anyone can get into the school unnoticed.

The School head has further called upon the railways Authority to immediately begin the reconstruction of the wall.

"The perimeter wall needs critical and fast attention as well as the institutes boreholes that are set to be demolished too so as to create a way for the railway line," said Karithu.

The demolitions are a part of the numerous being carried out so as to create a way for the ongoing Standard Gauge Railway construction.
