Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) CEO, Patrick Mwangi has urged Juakali sector people to invest in Saccos.
Speaking in Kisii town Mwangi said that Juakali groups will benefit much if they will transform their associations into Saccos.
"I am encouraging young people in the Jua kali sector to transform their groups and associations into Saccos. This will enhance their strength financially,” said Mwangi.
He noted that by embracing co-operative model in running Jua kali investments, the sector will attract both local and international funding hence strengthening their businesses.
Mwangi also noted that the saccos will help members to borrow money from external financial providers.
