Deputy President William Ruto has insisted there will never be talks on power-sharing between his Jubilee Party and the Opposition NASA alliance.

Ruto criticised Raila for travelling to Europe and accused him of seeking support from foreign states to get a power-sharing deal.

"Raila can travel to all cities in the world but what matters is that we will not sit for any talks or negotiations. We will let the people decide through the ballot so he should be ready for the election," he said.

He added that the country was at a critical moment where people want to see development and not unending politics.

"Kenyans want development-focused politics, not rhetoric on how to sneak into power without allowing the people to decide the leaders they want."
