The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) has been asked to be careful with Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi over his plans to merge Opposition leaders in one political outfit.
Former Nyakach MP Peter Odoyo said Mudavadi could be up to mischief with his much advertised National Super Alliance (Nasa).
Mudavadi said Nasa seeks to unite the Opposition parties like his ANC, Kanu, Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) of the Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto and Cord.
The former ODM elections board member said Mudavadi once betrayed the Opposition in the past and so, he can as well do the same.
"In 2002 he turned his back on us and went back to Kanu when we needed him the most. In 2007 he also betrayed us and in 2013 he decided to contest spoiling our votes in the process .Cord must be very careful with him lest he pulls another trick on us with this Nasa thing," he said, Saturday.
The former Foreign Affairs Assistant Minister also hit out at Mudavadi for allegedly dictating terms before one joins Nasa yet he has few elected leaders.
