Kisumu County swimming pool owners have been challenged to properly treat swimming pools with disinfectant to shield their customers from attracting skin diseases.
Swimming pool maintenance and construction expert Bernard Omwanda spoke at Jumuia hotel to business associates on the importance of keeping pools clean and safe for human health.
Omwanda noted for the swimming lovers not to get infected more often, much needed to be done for it to look like it’s leisure.
“Swimming trainers should also be at the scene for check control as some of those who go for swimming are not properly trained,” said Omwanda.
He added, “Let’s see our customers are well catered for by not letting them to attract diseases that may be caused by sharing stagnant water in the pools.”
His counterpart, Tom Mboya, speaking at the same event noted that in order to deem that venture proper for human leisure a lot should be invested in.
He said apart from locals undergoing guided training, water should be left to run after some time of swimming.
