Sossion differs with Odinga
Nominated ODM MP Wilson Sossion now wants the ministry of education to carry on with preparations for August 17 elections.
His party leader, Raila Odinga, had earlier suggested that the exams be postponed to a later date to allow the country conduct a repeat presidential election.
But according to Sossion, the move could destabilize sensitive preparations which have been going on for several months now.

Why Trump is keen to force Uhuru – Odinga dialogue

Kuria now wants Odinga under house arrest
Outspoken Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria now wants opposition leader Raila Odinga to be placed under house arrest should he threaten voting in August 8 elections.
A tough speaking Odinga has periodically warned of ensuring no election takes place in the country should IEBC fail to carry out certain radical changes.
But Kuria believes Odinga is doing ‘unnecessary’ justice to the country by persistently putting authorities on toes.

Orengo, Amollo set for another top election petition
Siaya senator James Orengo and Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo are set for another clandestine election petition barely a month after winning Presidential election petition in the Supreme Court.
Celebrated as the best legal minds in the country, the two were part of historical Raila Odinga – Uhuru Kenyatta petition in which an African Court cancelled victory of a sitting president.
And at Siaya, the two are set to represent Governor Amoth Rasanga who is facing a ground cracking case from Ex- Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo.
