Tribalism is something that is very common in our country today. Although, belonging to a community is not a bad thing but talking down about another community is where the problem comes in.
In Kenya, we are more than 42 tribes but there are always those communities that will want to dominate others simply because they think they are in more superior tribes.
The issue of tribalism will always come up when one develops a negative attitude towards another.
Who can end this in Kenya? For example, if a Kisii officer is sacked from a government position for some allegations, I am sure that the Kisii community will raise and why exactly that person has been sacked. They will go as far as claiming he has been fired simply because he is a Kisii.
Kenyans need to change this negative attitude against each other by realising that we are 42 in 1 and we should be able to comfortably accomodate each other.
