US president Donald Trump's son in-law, Jared Kushner, is now a senior White House advisor working on trade and the Middle East.
This is after the 35-years-old, who married Trump's daughter Ivanka in 2009, received a legal counsel, recommending that doing so would not violate the Country's anti-nepotism law.
"The position, unlike Cabinet posts, does not require US Senate confirmation, and Kushner will not be paid,'' reports Reuters.
Kushner came out as an important voice early in his father-in-law's presidential campaign, and was largely involved in almost every aspect of it from personnel decisions to strategy and fundraising.
Kushner who is a real estate dealer just like Trump, was sworn in as senior advisor to the President, after he entered office.
Trump was inaugurated, January 20, when Barack Obama exited office after serving for two terms, eight years.
