Kisii County education stakeholders have been urged to accept, appreciate and adjust to staffing changes made at various schools in the county by teachers employer.

A number of schools in the county have been affected by the teachers’ promotions, reshuffle, swapping and stepping down of school principals.

Addressing the media on Wednesday,Kisii County Director of Teachers Service Commission Martin Bunde urged all educations stakeholders in the the county to welcome the move

He said some schools from Gucha Sub County were immensely affected with the latest changes.

“I call upon all education stake holders to accept all TSC changes in various schools. This was timely and I hope no one will resist,” Bunde said.

He warned stakeholders against inciting parents and students to demonstrate against the changes adding that legal actions will be taken against those involved.

'"We should embrace these changes without criticism. We all understand that promotions, transfers and even reshuffling are a norm in education sector. We will not allow stakeholders to incite parents and students on these changes," he added.
