[Photo/citizentv.co.ke]The Teachers Service Commission has issued an order to headteachers who schools played host to the marking of K.C.S.E to remain in their schools for 24 hours.Marking is expected to be completed within 10 days. Nancy Macharia who is TSC's CEO ordered all pricipals in the marking centres to suspend all activities until marking is finalised.In a circular, TSC bemoaned the fact that some headstrong principals were flouting the directive not to leave the marking centres.''This is to restate that all centre managers must stay within their institutions at all times. The commission shall not hesitate to take stern action against any manager who does not abide by this directive meant to safeguard the marking of the examination.'' The circular dated December 6 read.The marking is two-weeks old and the Kenya National Examinations Council is working round the clock to ensure the results are out before the year ends.
