Bor said that some teachers have stayed in one job group for over 20 years."It's sad that despite teachers having upgraded their education backgrounds in colleges and universities they are yet to be promoted. This is demoralizing and makes a teacher to lose teaching morale," said the Chepkoilel KNUT boss in Eldoret town, Tuesday."Since 2014 no promotion has been done, this is uncalled for. Teachers have gone back to class, retrained and are now educated. Let them be motivated through promotion," added Bor.He also called upon TSC to replace teachers who have left the service for other engagements, retired or died with immediate effect."It's sad that TSC takes ages to replace teachers we want the exercise to be always done promptly. Most schools in Uasin Gishu counties lack teachers because some have left the service without replacement," noted the KNUT official.
