Jubilee party secretary general Raphael Tuju has been accused of giving Kisumu Senator aspirant Ochoro Ayoki the Jubilee ticket before his resignation from ODM.
Ayoki was not cleared by the IEBC on Sunday since he was a member of both ODM and Jubilee.
The aspirant was supposed to present his papers by 8am on Monday after clearing with the Registrar of Political Parties.
County JP chairman Zuberi Liete stated that Tuju was to blame for the technicality as he did not consult.
“How did they give Ayoki the ticket without confirming whether he was in Jubilee or ODM? This is shameful," he said.
“If an aspirant can be given 24 hours to resign from ODM, where was he to confirm whether he was in Jubilee or not?”
The chairman further claimed there is "a lot of blackmail" at Jubilee headquarters in Nairobi.
