Former Rarieda lawmaker Raphael Tuju has been named as the new Secretary General of Jubilee Party.

Theparty’s  National Executive Council appointed Tuju after serving as Head of Secretariat for close to three months.

Tuju takes over from Veronica Maina who was the acting Secretary General of Jubilee Party.

Tuju was assured of the support by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Jubilee Party was formed last year after President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto dissolved TNA and URP and formed Jubilee Party which they will use to seek for re-election in the August polls.
