Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has said that NASA's plan to block the repeat presidential polls is unconstitutional.
He has warned the opposition not proceed with the mainly in their strongholds.
Speaking during a press conference at the Multimedia University on Sunday October 15, Tuju accused NASA of planning to frustrate the presidential poll.
“We want to tell NASA that any attempt to block the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) from conducting the repeat presidential poll is an electoral offence that is punishable by law,” Tuju said.
He further defended the recent amendments to electoral laws by Jubilee legislators saying that the changes are ‘appropriate’.
“The Bill passed by the National Assembly and approved by the Senate was done appropriately and in accordance with the constitution,” said Tuju.
He added that Jubilee has been training its agents for the polls in all the 290 constituencies.
