Jubilee Party’s head of Secretariat Raphael Tuju has described former TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo as a man who lacks integrity.
In a Wednesday press statement, Tuju said Oloo was only making false claims about Jubilee, and had reverted to tribal politics.
“It is sadly evident that through choosing to move to ODM specifically that he has reverted to tribal politics, something that the Jubilee Party firmly opposes and we can only speculate that he does so in a bid to use tribalism to win a local seat,” Tuju said.
The former Rarieda MP said Jubilee is against tribalism, and welcomes members from all tribes.
This comes days after Oloo decamped to Raila Odinga’s ODM party.
Oloo said the President’s party had side lined him, and others, after the 11 political parties merged to form Jubilee Party last year.
He said Jubilee was a political outfit without the interest of Kenyans at heart.
He accused the government of presiding over corruption, claiming the new Jubilee Party had been hijacked by people associated with Deputy President William Ruto’s United Republican Party (URP).
The former TNA boss has also threatened to reveal secrets used by Jubilee Coalition during 2013 general election to allegedly inflate number of votes in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
