Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju has laughed off the opposition block NASA's pledge to fight corruption in the nation should it win the August general elections.
Speaking in an interview on NTV Sunday, the former Rarieda lawmaker said that the opposition is made up of individuals who have already been implicated in several corrupt dealings making their pledge laughable. He further termed the alliance as a refuge camp for corrupt individuals who are out to cleanse their names before getting back into government.
''Their 'Nasa Hao' slogan is just noise. Its composer,Musalia Mudavadi, was himself implicated in one of the biggest scandal in the history of this nation by his now boss Raila Odinga. The other co-principals are also suffering from the same disease. The opposition has now been transformed to a camp for corrupt asylum seekers,'' he said.
Tuju further maintained that the opposition has nothing to offer Kenyans stressing on the claim that all of the involved leaders have been in the government before and have failed to deliver calling upon Kenyans to grant the ruling Jubilee administration a second term in office.
''The President and his team have done a brilliant job and deserve a second term,'' he said.
