Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju has send a warning to aspirants who will engage in violence during the nomination.
According to Tuju, the party will no hesitate to disqualify such individuals.
He says all measures have been put in place to ensure the exercise will be smooth as well as free and fair while dispelling fears that some aspirants names will be missing from the ballot papers.
“We have taken up this matter with IEBC where omissions if some of our aspirants are reflected in the gazette notice,” he said.
“Given the massive numbers of names submitted to the IEBC in soft copy we are investigating together with the commission where mistakes may have originated. In the meantime, we request all our aspirants to check their names on the website of IEBC (iebc.co.ke).”
