The recent appointment of Raphael Tuju as the Jubilee Party Secretariat boss has no effect to Raila Odinga's Nyanza region vote if the words of Alego Usonga MP Muluan Omondi are true.

Speaking at Tula in North Alego on Wednesday, Omondi asked voters from the region not to be hoodwinked into joining the new side of the former Foreign Affairs minister which was "geared towards dividing Raila's votes".

“I did not want to comment on Jubilee affairs but I am sure that Tuju will not deliver any vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta from Nyanza,” he said.

Muluan added that Tuju was not a reformist, has never fought for democracy and lacks the authority to convince anti-Jubilee voters.

“Tuju cannot even marshal enough votes in his constituency and that puts him in no capacity to scuttle ODM votes in Rarieda and Nyanza,” he said.
