Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has strongly condemned the violence which erupted during NASA leader Raila Odinga’s rally at Aram in Rarieda.
The former Rarieda MP said the incident was very unfortunate and that politicians were using gullible youths to advance their selfish political interests.
Tuju asked the young people to shun violence and stay away from politicians out to put them in violent acts as we near the general elections.
Tuju added that after seeing the chaotic incident being was aired on TV, he was wary of delving into hard-hitting politics as he could also end up a victim.
“I understand that here in Aram you are credited for throwing stones. This is the reason why I am cautious on politics today," he said.
He was speaking on Saturday during the burial ceremony of David Odongo, elder brother to former Kenya Pipeline MD George Okungu.
