[Photo: Citizen Digital]Former Rarieda MP (2002-2007) and current Jubilee party Secretary General Raphael Tuju, has sought to debunk 'NASA's falsehood' that their protests are a 'countrywide mass action'.Tuju, speaking to Sunday Live news program, instead said that what has been witnessed so far are demos by one community, which he called out by name."There is nothing like mass action in this country. What we are seeing are demos by one community in various parts of the country. We have seen these violent demos which are mere blackmail happen in Kisumu, Kibera and some other few places where people have been brainwashed into believing that violence will yield them results," Tuju said."There is nowhere else in Kenya where people are waving twigs, throwing stones and burning tires. Let's call things by name because hiding from the reality won't help us," he added.Tuju also advised 'my fellow Bondo villagers' against attacking police stations because NASA leadership is just 'lying' to them that they are protected by law even when they resort to such 'reckless and dangerous actions'.He said that NASA's 'unpopular demos' will be an exercise in futility and instead advised them to go and canvass in the Supreme Court if they have issues with repeat October 26 polls. The former journalist noted that Jubilee had already 'compromised' a lot to 'satisfy' NASA and it was not ready to do it again in the streets.
