Ugandan police have confirmed that a Jubilee Party MP was registering voters in the country. Mary Emaase, the Teso South MP, is reported to have escaped arrest after Ugandan authorities discovered her activities. The legislator's bodyguard was nabbed and is currently held by the Ugandan authorities. She was found campaigning in Amagoro village, Buteba Sub-County, of Busia district.
