The National Super Alliance is facing a difficult time as Wiper insists that the 2013 Memorandum of understanding that was signed by Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka is honoured.
Ukambani leaders supporting the new political outfit have claimed that it’s either Kalonzo for President or else, NASA is ‘dead.’
Addressing the press at Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi, Machakos governor aspirant Wavinya Ndeti said that NASA has no option but to endorse Musyoka.
“Our option one Kalonzo, option two Kalonzo, option three Kalonzo, to infinity,” Ndeti said.
In an interview with The Star Newspaper, National Assembly Minority Leader, John Nyenze claimed that, in 2013 it was agreed that Raila will be a one term president who will eventually support Musyoka in 2017. He said that CORD was killed so as to dishonor the MoU.
“The reason there is stalemate is because the MoU wasn’t honoured and CORD was killed so we don’t raise that issue. NASA came into being and when I asked about the MoU, I was told all those MoU and agreements are dead and buried with CORD,” Nyenze said.
