Tusker Fc players in past training camp.(Photo/twitter.com)Former Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker Fc have called for talented upcoming footballers to participate in their forthcoming trials scheduled for December 13 at the club's Ruaraka Grounds.In a press release to media houses on Friday,the Brewers said the trials will go on for three days and is aimed at bolstering the team ahead of the 2018 season."Tusker FC will be conducting a three day trial exercise aimed at recruiting new players ahead of the team’s 2018 campaign.The player selection and trials will be conducted at the club’s training ground in Ruaraka, from Wednesday 13th December to Friday 15th December 2018. Activities on all days will start from 10am. Interested players must be above the age of 18.The trials will be conducted by firs team coach Francis Baraza assisted by the head of youth development, Leonard Odipo. The selection will be done based on merit", read part of thr statement.Tusker endured a turbulent 2017 season where they finished sixth aside from relinquishing the league title and the GOtv shield.They have also parted ways with a number of their players including former Muhoroni Stars striker George Mandela,Victor Ndinya,Moses Ndaula and Ekaliani Ndolo.The Brewers will open their 2018 campaign with a visit to Chemelil Sugar on February 3.
