Tusker FC interim coach Francis Baraza has blamed bad luck in their 0-1 defeat by Sofapaka during the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash played at Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday, November 11.

Humphrey Okoti scored for Batoto ba Mungu at the half-hour mark in what was to be the only goal of the match.

The win saw Sofapaka ascend to second on the league table behind this year's winners Gor Mahia FC.

But coach Baraza says his men were just unlucky as most of their chances ended up wasted.

"Actually I thought we were just unlucky in this game. We created a lot of chances than our opponents and played well generally," he said.

"What cost us today was the fact that we did not take the chances that we had. The opponents created a few chances and scored when it mattered and that won them the tie," he added.

This was a second consecutive loss by the brewers after they suffered another defeat at the hands of Thika last week.
