2016 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker FC have dropped four players ahead of the long league end rest.Key among those dropped is former KPL Player of the Year Ekaliani Ndolo.
Ndolo was dropped together with the Ugandan duo of Moses Ndawula and Robert Omnuk as well as former Bandari man Victor Ndinya.
Ndinya signed from the dockers at the beginning of the season.
Confirming the developments, Tusker chair Daniel Aduda said they decided to drop the axe early enough so the players get enough time to hunt for new clubs.
"We have been reviewing and assessing the team as the season nears its end and we thought it is wise to notify players whom we don't intend to keep next year to start looking for the team they can join," he said.
"It's a sensible thing to do instead of waiting until the last minute. The four had been given a notice by the club and they remain in our books until when the time of their contract elapses," he added as reported by Futaa.
