One of the leading retail chain store Tuskys now risks closing down their branch in Kisii as locals vow to boycott their services if they won't employ locals from the region.
According to the locals, the supermarket has allegedly employed workers from one tribe.
Led by Edward Kambaga the locals said they have already written a letter to the management and they are waiting for their response by Monday.
"We have been contributing to the growth of the supermarket hence we demand a share of employment," said Kambaga.
The Kisii Tusky manager was not available to respond to the allegations.
