Former Nairobi governor aspirant Miguna Miguna has revealed the team he will be supporting in the World Cup.
This comes just days after the lawyer bashed Kenyan fans saying that they need psychiatrists for following trivial matters when serious issues of corruption were pulling down their country.
Taking to his Facebook page on Friday, Miguna said that he would be supporting the Mexicans in the 2018 tournament held in Russia.
"I'm rooting for the MEXICANS at the #WorldCupRussia2018. Mexicans gave Fidel Castro, Ernesto Che Guevara and Raul Castro refuge before they landed at the Bay of Pigs and executed the greatest revolution to date. (I didn't say "don't watch soccer." I said don't be OBSESSED.) Viva!" he wrote.
Earlier, Miguna had bashed at World Cup fans for having their priorities wrong.
"Watching football is enthralling but when millions of hungry, exploited and brutalized citizens get so engrossed over foreigners kicking a ball around a field while dismissing their own hunger, homelessness, brutalized bodies and looted funds they need a psychiatric certification," he posted.
