Two women have been arrested in Elburgon for undergoing the cut.

The two were arrested at the Ndoswa, Marioshoni.

They are aged 22 and 26.

The women said they decided to undergo the cut to earn respect in society.

They were treated at Elburgon Nyayo hospital before being taken behind bars.
