The bodies of the two men were discovered by boda boda operators who alerted security officials.

According to residents, cases of people being murdered and their bodies dumped along roadsides have increased.

Simon Musungu, a boda boda operator, said there is need for urgent action from security officials to address deteriorating security.

He said it has become difficult for them to operate beyond 8pm, accusing police of being reluctant to curb rising insecurity cases.

“We want to appeal to the security officials in Naivasha to up their game and by arresting criminals causing havoc,” he said.  Mr Musungu alleged that some estates in Naivasha have become a haven for criminals, who operate without fear.

The two men are believed to have been killed elsewhere before their bodies were dumped in the roadside trench.

Their bodies were taken to the Naivasha sub-county hospital for post-mortem examination.
