The bodies of two men were found packed insided sacks at a bus stage in Kiambaa, Sunday evening.
Confirming the incident Kiambu county assistant county commissioner, Elias Kathaura said that the two men were yet to be identified, but that they suspected that the men could have been killed elsewhere before being dumped there.
“This being a Highway, these men could have been killed from a far place and dumped here. We are however conducting investigations to get to the root of the matter,” said Kathaura.
Area residents have said that the bodies spent the whole day yesterday there with people thinking they were luggage.
"We had to check to see what kind of luggage it was because it had taken long without the owner coming for it. That is when we found it was people,” said Daniel Mbogo, a witness.
Another witness Samuel Kamau wondered what the two men whom he said looked like construction workers could have been killed for. Kathaura said that the two bodies were taken to the city mortuary in Nairobi for post-mortem and possible identification.
